On Monday, November 16, 2009, Gladys Madge Hall went home peacefully in the loving embrace of her Savior, Jesus Christ.Born July 11, 1925 she was the daughter of Carl and Thelma Shuttleworth, who precede her in death. Madge was a lifelong resident of Morgantown and was married 54 years to Roy C. Hall who passed away in 1999.Madge, (as she was known to her family and friends), worked 32 years for Monongalia County Schools as a cook at Sabraton School. She was a Lutheran by faith and attended Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. She was a member of the Sabraton Lions Club and the Monongalia County Historical Society. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading books and traveling whenever she had the chance, but more than any of these she loved her family. Her daughters and her grandchildren were the light of her life and her love for them was without bounds. She is and will forever be held in our hearts until we meet again at Heavenâs gate.Madge is survived by daughters, Beth Hall, Barbara Bonnett and Brenda Zagar as well as her grandchildren, Cody and Katey Zagar. She is also survived by her loving canine companion, Clover whose faithful and gentle companionship brought great joy to her life. She was also blessed to have Rose Dalton as her caregiver, and even more blessed to have her as a loving and loyal friend who always sent her a song and a prayer during her churchâs radio broadcast every Sunday.In addition to her parents and her husband, Madge was preceded in death by her infant brother, Carl Albert and two sons-in-law, Raymond Bonnett and Randy Zagar.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Thursday, November 19 from 4-8 PM. On Friday, November 20, Mrs. Hall will be moved to Grace Lutheran Church, corner of 3rd St. & Gaston Ave., Fairmont where visitation will continue from 10 â" 11 AM. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday in the church with Bishop Alex Black officiating.
