Gladys Loynachan

Gladys L. Loynachan, 97, of, Morgantown, formerly of Mayfield Heights, OH, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Madison Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown.Gladys was born in Hammond, WI on August 11, 1914, the daughter of the late George and Lina Vollroth Korp. Gladys worked in Washington, DC prior to World War II. She worked in credit unions in Cleveland, OH. The work she enjoyed the most was her work with Native Americans at the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Cleveland, OH. Gladys was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son and his wife, David and Connie Loynachan and her daughter and husband, Louise A. and James W. Amrine, Jr. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kim Marie Moya Molina, Krista Loynachan Alexander, Daniel Clark Amrine, David Mark Amrine and Erica Lynn Amrine Anderson six great-grandchildren, David Moya, Levi Alexander, Macy and Abigail Amrine, Clio Anderson and Aiden Amrine and her sister, Marion Engel of Columbus, OHIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil D. Loynachan, Jr. As per Gladysâs request, there will be no visitation, and cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Gladysâs memory to the Salvation Army, 1224 University Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
