Gloria Mae Blosser

Gloria Mae Dalton Blosser, 74, of Morgantown, was called home by the Lord Monday evening, March 9, 2015. She was born in Morgantown on November 20, 1940, a daughter of the late James Albert Dalton and the late Dorothy Marie Dalton. Survivors include her husband Frederick E. “Buck” Blosser; three children, Fred Blosser and his wife Brenda, Denzil “Jake” Blosser and Priscilla “Penny” Fletcher and her husband Roger all of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Hannah Kyle and her husband Jesse, Matthew Blosser and Samantha Jo Friend and her husband Drew all of Morgantown, and Derica Fletcher of Arlington, VA; a great-grandson, Cutler Kyle; two siblings, Stanley James Dalton and his wife Tammy of Morgantown and Frances “Francie” Woody and her husband Sam of Reedsville, WV; several nieces and nephews and a very special family friend, Timberly Allman of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Dwight Dalton; two infant grandchildren, Megan and Marie Fletcher; and a sister, Margie Freeman. Gloria was a homemaker and attended the Mt. View Free Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed having her family all together, cooking, traveling to the beach and fishing. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandson and made endless memories with each of them. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Thursday, March 12 from 1-3 & 6-8 PM and again on Friday, March 13 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM. with Reverend Francis Craker officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Morgantown. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Blosser’s name may be made to the Mt.
