Grace Darlene Deuesenberry

Grace "Darlene" Deuesenberry, 82, of Morgantown passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Sundale Rehabilitation and Long Term Care. She was born September 28, 1941 in Preston County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby Ringer.

Darlene was a member of the Sabraton Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Terry and Jenny Deuesenberry, Carol and Donnie Groves, and Karen Woods, all of Morgantown; sister, Geraldine Polce and her husband Mark of Reedsville; grandchildren, Chris (Keshia), Melissa, Justin (Kelly), and Sarah (Todd); great grandchildren, Jaylen, Matthew, Sydney, Payton, Landon, Lilly, and Isaiah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Deuesenberry in 2020, two brothers, and two sisters.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Sundale Nursing Home and Amedysis Hospice for all of their care.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, July 12th from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday, July 13th from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Stephen Dodrill officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
