Harry William Dalton

Harry William Dalton, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at his home. He was born June 23, 1932 in Morgantown, a son of the late Gay William and Edith Mae (Nicholson) Dalton.

Harry retired from Sterling Faucet after 35 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting small bore and skeet. He was a member of the Mason Dixon Rifle Club.

He is survived by his wife, Arveda Joyce Dalton; sons, Bradley Dalton, Mark McDonald (Patricia), Harry Dalton, II (Monica); grandchildren, Melissa Blenschmidt (Bob), Sarah McDonald, Jeff McDonald, Kirsten Dorazio (Jeremy), Harry Dalton, III, Shawn Dalton (he was pap’s best buddy); great grandchildren, Maggie McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Kylee McDonald, Layla Gribble, Zander Dalton, Grayson Dalton (he liked to share corn curls with Pap), Brooks Dalton; and brother, Dr. Dennis Dalton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Troy McDonald; sister, Helen Dettori; sister in law, Susan Dalton; and brother in law, Manny Dettori.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
