Ingeborg Annaleise Wolfe

July 31, 1928 — November 12, 2014

Ingeborg Annaleise Wolfe, 86, of Fairchance Road, Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her residence in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Triebes, Germany on July 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Erich Wagner and the late Ella (Schoppe) Wagner. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Jacobs and husband Daniel of Rivesville, WV and Debra Marie Cottrell and husband Bradley of Masontown; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosemarie Kramer of Triebes, Germany; and two nephews, Ralph Nossig and Jorg Kramer, both of Triebes, Germany. Mrs. Wolfe retired as a station clerk from West Virginia University after 25 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and canning. She was always very lady like, making sure her hair, make-up and clothes were always just right. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time with her Chihuahua, Little Foot. Her proudest achievement though, was marrying her husband George A. Wolfe. They spent 45 years married to each other before his passing in April of 1997. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated with no public services. Inurnment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice, In Touch and Concerned, and Fresnius Dialysis of Westover for all the wonderful care and love shown through Mrs. Wolfe’s illness. Also, a special thanks to her hairdresser, Marilyn, for all the years of doing her hair. Hastings Funeral Home of Morgantown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
