Irene Hagedorn

Irene Hagedorn, 91 of Morgantown, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2014 at Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown. She was born March 31, 1922 in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late Jerry Hawkins and the late Hattie Stanton Hawkins. She is survived by her caregiver, Scott Tingler and his family of Morgantown, and several caring friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie C. Hagedorn, one sister and two brothers. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Wednesday, March 5th from 3-5 PM and again on Thursday, March 6th from 1:30 PM until the time of the funeral and committal service at 2:00 PM.
