James Goodwin

James Allen âJimâ Goodwin, 54, of Jerome Park, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Monongalia General Hospital. Jim was born on December 10, 1957, in Abilene, TX the son of the late Albert and Marshlene Yocum Goodwin. He was employed as a security guard at WVU football games as wells as other locations. He enjoyed fishing and WVU sports. He is survived by his companion of many years, Shirley Gibson, brother, Albert âPeteâ Goodwin and wife, Tammy, a sister, Cindy Barnes, brother, Jeff Goodwin and wife, Kim, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his dog, Snuggie Bear. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Goodwin and a sister, Sharon Garthrop. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 6-9pm on Tuesday, February 21, and again on Wednesday, from 9-11am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11am with Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, PA
