Janice Marie Cyzick

Janice Marie Cyzick, 73, Morgantown (formerly of Westover), passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mapleshire Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center of Morgantown, WV. She was born in Morgantown on January 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Charles Junior and Bronwen Olivia (Jones) Maust. She was a 1959 graduate of Morgantown High School and retired in 2004 as an office manager at the United States Department of Energy. She was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ, Westover Civic Club, Red Hats, and was a former president of the Fair Heights Garden Club. Janice is survived by her children, Rami Dawn Cyzick Bloniarz and her husband Michael Joseph Bloniarz of Morgantown and Derick Steven Cyzick of Cecil, PA. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, whom she loved more than life, Olivia Jean Bloniarz and Bryce Michael Bloniarz, both of Morgantown and Abigail Paige Henderson of Foster, KY. Additional survivors include a brother, James “Jim” Maust of Morgantown; an aunt, Helen Jones of Ocean City, MD; several cousins, and longtime friends, Ben and Glenda Harrison of Carriere, MS, who she considered more like family. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Saturday from 5-9 PM and on Sunday from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Craig Falkenstein officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
