Jeannette Gaspar

Jeannette Price Gaspar, 98, formerly of Macomb Street, Morgantown, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Evergreen Assisted Living of Morgantown, WV, where she had been a resident for the past three years. Jeannette was born in Morgantown on May 2, 1915, a daughter of the late James Getting Price and the late Elizabeth Blanche (Henry) Price. Survivors include her children, Joseph D. Gaspar and wife Dixie, David A. Gaspar and wife, Rebecca, William S. Gaspar and wife Nancy, and Karen Mayfield and husband Ron; her grandchildren; Connie Gaspar, Joe D. Gaspar, Jr., D.F. Gaspar, Emily Gaspar, Matt Gaspar, Doug Mayfield and Cortnie Mayfield White; and her great-grandchildren, Megan, Jackson, Will, Sarah, and Jacob. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gaspar on December 23, 2010, and three siblings, Dale Price, Ernest Price, Alice Price. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, December 28th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon with Rev.
