Jennifer Ellen Allison

Jennifer Ellen Allison of Morgantown, WV passed away unexpectedly due to a vehicular accident on January 18, 2021 at the age of 37. Born on September 11, 1983, in Morgantown, she lived the majority of her life in the greater Morgantown area. Jennifer had a passion for nature and animals; she used that drive to earn a dual bachelors degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Business from Oklahoma State University which she applied in her career as a veterinary technician at Hillcrest Veterinary Clinic. She is survived by her beloved children; daughter Aubrey Allison Grooms, son Carter Kendall Grooms and ex-husband Korey Grooms. Also surviving are parents, Nancy B. Allison and Alvan D. Allison; siblings Adam K. Allison (Melanie Allison) and Lauren A. Huertas (Juan Huertas); and niece and nephew Hayden and Brecken Allison; all of whom will dearly miss her joyful presence and infectious personality. Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joan (Nuss) and Ken Brown, paternal grandparents Coradel (Jacobs) and Alvan Allison and cherished dog Jubal. Jennifer was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church. Due to the current health crisis there will be no public funeral or burial. A private family service was held.
