Joel Paul Plevich, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born in Monongalia County on August 9, 1937, the son of the late Mike Plevich and Pearl (Zolikoff) Plevich. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and worked for 40 years as Perfusionist at WVU Hospital and Charleston Area Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Marie (Pellan) Plevich; children, Joel Michael Plevich and his wife Mary of Morgantown, Vickie Marie Donahue and her husband Tom of Lighthouse Point, FL, David Paul Plevich and his wife Trisha of Morgantown, and Dr. Linda Michelle Shuck of Elkin, NC; grandchildren, Annika Plevich, Eva Sine and her husband Daniel, Joel Thomas Donahue and his wife Bianca, Taylor Donahue, Joseph Plevich, Luke Plevich, Jessica Shuck, and Lucas Shuck; an aunt, Toni Mitchell; and brother in law, Victor Aglinsky. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Aglinsky. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Sunday, February 7th from 2-5 PM. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 4:30 PM to conclude visitation. Visitation will continue at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, on Monday, February 8th from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Msgr.
