John Dewitt

John "Weezer" DeWitt, 59, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Morgantown on January 3, 1964, son of Margaret (Casteel) DeWitt and the late Arley John Oliver DeWitt.

Weezer's career was truck driving. In his spare time, he was known for his passion for both WVU football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His love surrounded his grand babies.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Toni (Turner) DeWitt; children, Cheryl DeWitt, Jessica Darnell, Rebekka Bissett and Joshua DeWitt; grandchildren, Fallon Hunt, Ella Swihart, August Bissett, Lyla Bissett, Olive Bissett and Daniel DeWitt; Mother, Margaret DeWitt and siblings, Timothy DeWitt and Danny DeWitt.

In addition to his father, Weezer is preceded in death by his brother, Randy DeWitt.
