Jonathan Mccagie "Jon" Piper

Jonathan “Jon" Piper, 81, currently of Morgantown, WV and formerly of Gainesville, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Sundale Nursing Home of Morgantown, WV. He was born in St. Louis, MO on December 30, 1933, the only child of the late Jesse “Mac” Piper and the late Ann (Higdon) Piper. Survivors include his two children, Gary Piper of Atlanta, GA, and Joy (Piper) Scime and her husband Earl of Morgantown, WV; three grandchildren, Luke Scime of Pittsburgh, PA, Ethan Scime of Morgantown, WV and Jackie Dillingham of Utah; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Jason Dillingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Delite Robson Piper. Mr. Piper’s family has honored his wishes for cremation to take place. At his request, no services are planned.
