Judith Jean Pincus

Judith Jean Pincus, age 66, of Morgantown, passed away Monday afternoon, February 23, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV. She was born November 4, 1948 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late David Henry Pincus and the late Henrietta Belnick Pincus. Judith graduated from American University with a degree in Graphic Design. She used her degree by traveling to craft shows, creating portraits, silhouettes, and charcoal drawings. She later started working in real estate with Century 21, and remained a real estate agent for more than 30 years. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending her free time horseback riding, painting with watercolors, hiking, kayaking, and reading. Judith is survived by her husband Melvin Clarence Buzzard; her son, Neil Buzzard and his wife Amy Buzzard; her two brothers Daniel Pincus and wife Ilene Pincus, and their daughter Jessica McFarland and her husband Cody, and Joseph Pincus and his wife Esther, and their children David and Ellen Pincus. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, February 27th from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday, February 28th from 1-4 PM. At approximately 2 PM in the funeral home, family and close friends will begin to share memories of Judy. Following the service and visitation, the family’s wishes for cremation will be honored.
