Judy Gatian

Judy Lorraine Carter Gatian, 67, of Independence passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Heartland Rehab in Kingwood. She was born November 2, 1946 in Morgantown, WV, daughter of Bill and Evelyn Carter. Judy worked at WVU Hospitals, was supervisor at Heck's Dept. Store until it closed, and was a supervisor at Sears Dept. Store. She is survived by her husband of 48 years,Terry W. Gatian; son Troy Art Gatian and wife Kathi; daughter, Stacy Jones and husband Scott; three grandaughters, Sara Maxwell and husband Matt, Emily Sigley and husband Andy, Hannah Jones; grandson, Bradley McDougal; great-grandson, Eli Sigley; many wonderful nieces and nephews and her Christian family at The Grafton Rd. Church of God. In addition to her parents and grandparents she is preceded in death by a brother, Bob Carter and wife Charlotte; Sister, Bonnie and husband Ressie as well as two nephews, Bubby and Billy White. Family and friends will be received at Grafton Road Church of God , 43 Green Leaf Lane, Morgantown on Monday, February 10th from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Tuesday, February 11th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Lee Green officiating. Private Interment will follow on Wednesday at Zion Cemetery at Over Cheat.
