Judy Ann Ruckle

Judy Ann Ruckle, 73, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Mon Health Medical Center.

Judy was born on April 10, 1950, the daughter of the late Paul Allen Uphold and late Molly Lee Moats Uphold.

Judy loved spending time with her family, fur babies and the wildlife around her. She enjoyed traveling and making good fun with friends and family, keeping everything lighthearted, never hesitant to make jokes. Judy kept clippings of Elvis Presley, newspaper sections of old family and many pictures and videos of past family activities and celebrations. She was very kind and loving. She hated goodbyes. "See you later" is what she would say and she will see us all later still.

Judy is survived by three daughters, Susan Ruckle of Morgantown; Jennifer Blosser of Morgantown; Donna Richards and husband Caleb of Fairmont; ten grandchildren, Bradley Hart, Bryan Hart and wife Emily, Robert Lambert Jr., Brittany McDonald, Tiffany Burrow, Ryan Burrow, Mollie Yerkovich and husband Chris, Haley Haught, Faithlyn Haught, Ella Richards, two step-grandchildren, Hannah Richards and Natalie Richards, three great grandchildren, Kayden Hart, Kamden Hart and Myla Dobbs. One half brother, Leon Gear of Wheeling, WV and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Uphold, Sherman Uphold and Jerry Uphold, one sister Dottie McDonald, one half sister Darlene Bailey and one grandson Bobby Hart Jr.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, June 17, from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm with Ryan Burrow officiating. Following the funeral service cremation arrangements are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
