Karen Davis

Karen Ann Davis, 51, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital surrounded by family and close friends. Karen was born in Uniontown, PA on June 26, 1962, the daughter of Paul F. and MaryAnn (Ludrosky) Blasinsky of Carmichaels, PA. She graduated from Carmichaels Area High School. Karen also graduated from Penn State, and the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Monongalia General Hospital. She enjoyed growing flowers, reading and cross stitching but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she is survived by, her husband of 23 years, Stanley M. Davis; daughters, Meghan Laurel Davis and Kristin Elizabeth Davis both of Morgantown; brothers, Timothy Blasinsky and wife Marie of Carmichaels, Brian Blasinsky and wife Melinda of Cleveland, OH and sister, Diane Gesk and husband Robert of Uniontown, PA; mother-in-law, Ruth DeWitt and husband Earl of Seattle, WA brothers-in-law, David Davis and Kevin Davis of Seattle, WA, sister-in-law, Pamela Hagedorn of Kansas City, MO. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Karla. In accordance with Karen's wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Family and friends will be received at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Star City on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 9:00a.m. until the celebration of the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00a.m. with Fr. John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Karen's memory to Clear Mountain Bank, 1889 Earl L. Core Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
