Karen Lynne Miller

Karen Lynne Miller, 71, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at her residence. She was born on November 16, 1950, daughter of the late Alex Joseph and Wanda Mae (Boggs) Shizak.

Karen was in the class of 1968 at Morgantown High School. She became a medical clerk and worked for 41 years at WVU Hospital. She loved attending WVU sporting events and was a proud 43-year season ticket holder. She also continuously displayed her love for her family, friends and Mountaineers.

Karen is survived by her loving husband Charles L. (Chuck) Miller, Jr.; son Charles L. Miller III and spouse Julie of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren: Emily Miller, Aurora Miller, and Charles L. (Charlie) Miller IV of Gaithersburg, MD; brothers Michael Andrew Shizak and spouse Elisa from Columbus, MS, David Allen Shizak and spouse, Kelly from Leonardtown, MD; mother-in-law Sarah Miller; brothers-in-law and spouses James (Jim) and Donna Miller, Timothy (Tim) and Sandy Miller and Matthew (Matt) and Amanda Miller.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Charles Miller, Sr.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 12th from 5 pm until the time of funeral service at 7:30 pm. Anyone in attendance of the visitation, please know that it was Karen's request that everyone wear either blue or WVU apparel. She did not desire to have black clothing at her celebration.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will follow.
