Katrina Regina Debardi

Katrina Regina DeBardi, 60, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her home. She was born on October 28, 1961, the daughter of Shirley (Murray) and the late Daris Dalton.


Katrina worked as a coal miner for Consol Energy and was a member of UMWA local number 1702. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, decorating, restoration, and listening to gospel music. She was an avid loving Christian who cherished her time when she taught Sunday school. Katrina was considered the matriarch and the rock of the family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.


Katrina is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Frank DeBardi; sons, Jim (Deann) Thomas and Anthony (Laura) DeBardi; grandchildren, Gabriel Thomas, Kieana Thomas, Adalee DeBardi and Lydia DeBardi; brothers, Donnie (Kim) Dalton, Daris (Tammy) Dalton; sisters, Robin (Eugene) McDonald, Sue (Ralph) Murray, Tammy (Mark) Hart, Romaine (Joe) Trentini; in-laws, Ed Hall, and Larry (Vickie) DeBardi; Sue DeBardi, Shirley DeBardi and Libby DeBardi along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.


In addition to her father, Katrina was preceded in death by a niece, Chasity Hershman; a brother-in-law, Ralph DeBardi and a sister-in-law, Beth Hall.


Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, 1346 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508 on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Casey Shorr officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
