Kimberly Diane Bryner

Kimberly Diane Bryner, 64, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1960 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Robert Dale and Ruth Ann (Bright) Johnson.

Kimberly was a 1978 graduate of Morgantown High School and attended Kingdom: A Community Church. She graduated from West Virginia University with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Nutritional Sciences in 1982 and her Master of Science in Agricultural Biochemistry in 1987. She worked for various research labs at the Health Sciences Center, and was most fond of the work she did in autonomic neuropathy in the Department of Medicine.

She loved attending Mountaineer football games with her daughter, loved her cats, and she also loved traveling with her family. She was proud of the fact that Zackquill Morgan, the founder of Morgantown, was her 6th great uncle. Her friend, Dr. Patrick Smith, just completed her ancestry, which she very much enjoyed researching.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of over 36 years, Dr. Randy W. Bryner; son, Dr. Jeremy Daniel Bryner (Nicole); daughter, Dr. Savannah Lynn Bryner; grandson, Liam Bryner; sister, Stephanie A. Boyce; one niece and several nephews.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Monday, November 25th from 4-7 PM and again on Tuesday, November 26th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Sabin officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
