Leola Malcolm

Leola Faye Malcolm, 48, of Mansion Ave., Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1964 in Demming, NM; and a daughter of Mary Frances Turner of El Paso, TX and the late Eddie Evans. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, James Maurice "Jim" Malcolm; five children, Kenneth Kenerson of Cheat Lake, Steven Kenerson of Colorado, Jennifer Malcolm at home, Elisha Gibson of Morgantown, and Patrick and Clarisa Malcolm both at home; 11 grandchildren and five siblings. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Andre H. Malcolm. Faye loved to dance and play music. She was a very caring and giving person who accepted everyone as they were, without question. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister to her family. In keeping with the wishes of the family, Mrs. Malcolm will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10 AM. Those wishing to attend the service are respectfully asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 9:45 AM.
