Linda Jean Cool, 61, of Maidsville, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Fairmont, WV, on February 1, 1954, daughter of the late James Long and Erma (Bucklen) Long. She is survived by her sons Steven (Julie) Cool, and Rodney (Wanda) Cool; grandchildren, Hannah, Jessica, Nicholas, Catie, Mackenzie, Emma, Jaylyn, Jace and Joshua; brothers and sisters Pearl Stewart, Floyd (Mary) Long, Delmas Long and Barb (Bob) Cooke; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Cool and brother Albert Long. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 18th from 1-3pm and 5-8pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, Oct. 19th from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Matt Murry officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery in Westover.
