Linda Mcgregor Lipscomb

Linda McGregor Lipscomb, 74, of Morgantown passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was born on February 23, 1947, in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Dallas McGregor and Glenevee Christopher. She graduated from Bruceton High School in 1965. Linda worked as a HR Manager for HRDF/HRDE for 47 years. Linda loved to shop and was an avid Cross stitcher, but most of all she loved to go to the beach with her grandchildren! She is survived by her sister, Sueann (McGregor) Loya and brother-in-law Chuck Loya; son Christopher Lipscomb & daughter-in-law, Renee (Powell) Lipscomb; daughter, Heather (Lipscomb)Hopkins; and her five grandchildren: Olivia Hopkins, Caden Lipscomb, Colton Lipscomb, Cohen Lipscomb, and Autumn Hopkins. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Wilford McGregor, and her longtime companion, Richard Lipscomb. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 3 – 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at Hastings Funeral Home on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
