Lynn Taylor

Lynn Taylor, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at her home. She was born December 1, 1947, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late George and Margaret (Venetta) Reseter.

Lynn retired from Bell Atlantic Phone Company with over thirty years of service. Lynn was kind and caring. She was well known for making others laugh. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing on her computer, and shopping. Above all, she loved being a Nonna.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Everett Taylor, III; children, Erin Taylor and her fiancé, Tarik Robinson and Ryan Taylor; granddaughter, Shaylyn Taylor and her fiancé Brian Thompson; great granddaughter, Reaslynn Thompson; siblings, Anna (Reseter) Smith, her late husband Keith ‘Kip’ Smith, Michael Reseter and his wife Stephanie, and Larry Reseter and his wife Beth, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by many cousins and her best friend, Rosie Crites.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will be provided. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, November 4th for a memorial service at 2:00 PM with Sister Nancy White officiating. Following the service, the family will continue to receive friends at the funeral home until 5 PM.
