Mabel Mae Phillips

Mabel Mae Phillips, 99, of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born June 18, 1925 in Ireland, Lewis County, West Virginia, to the late Russell Carpenter and Orpha McClain.

Mabel is survived by sons, Robert Phillips of Alberta, Canada and Joseph (Jackie) Phillips of Renton, Washington; grandchildren, Andrew Phillips, Michael Phillips, Brent Phillips, and Russell Satterfield; nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, William McClain and Ernest Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Phillips, daughter, Edith Ann "Ginger" Satterfield, and son, Jeffrey Lee Phillips.

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public service. The family will honor her memory privately at a later time.
