Madalyn Virginia Pysell

Madalyn Virginia Uphold Pysell, 88, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born in Morgantown, WV on July 9, 1926, the only child of the late Russell Uphold and the late Elizabeth Melrose (Schroyer) Uphold. Survivors include her two children, Carol Aaron and her husband Craig of Morgantown, and Mark Pysell of Oak Hill, WV; four grandchildren, Christopher and Caitlyn Aaron both of Morgantown, and Paiten and Paige Pysell both of Bluefield, WV; and one great-granddaughter, Peyton Aaron of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry John Pysell in 2005. Mrs. Pysell was a graduate of Morgantown High School and a member of Spruce St. United Methodist Church. She was a proud member of the BOPARC Senior Center at Wiles Hill, and an avid square dancer and line dancer. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, April 24th from 6-9 PM and again on Saturday, April 25th from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Timothy J. Allen officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville, MD.
