Margaret Prince

Margaret Prince, 94, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at The Madison Rehab Nursing Center. She was born June 18, 1916 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn Chipps Beall.She was a gracious homemaker and a member of the Morgantown Church of the Brethern. She was a member of Harmony Rebekah Lodge #51. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Brice E. Prince, her sister, Martha Shay, and brother-law, Paul Shay. She is survived by a son, James H. Prince and wife Pat of Lafayette, LA, a daughter, Jeanne P. Gilbert and husband Patrick of Indianapolis, IN three grand children, Todd and wife Jennifer Prince of Bedford, TX, Christina and husband William Laut and Jeffrey Gilbert all of Indianapolis, IN three great-grandsons, Brice D. Prince, Frederick and Anton Laut a sister, Maxine and husband Carl Wise of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Morgantown Church of the Brethern, 404 Virginia Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 4-8 pm Friday, January 21st and will continue from 10AM until time of funeral service at 11AM, Saturday, January 22nd with Pastors Torin & Carrie Eikler officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Gilbert, William Laut, Todd Prince, Alan Wise, Mark Wise and Ryan Wise.
