Marilyn Kay Nuce

Marilyn Kay Lewis Nuce, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Monongalia General Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Maidsville on July 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Howard Lewis and the late Helen (Galusky) Lewis. She was an avid Mountaineer, Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan. She loved reading and spending time with the family dog, Baby. She and her daughter walked daily at Morgantown Mall for 16 years. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Nuce Barnett and son-in-law Robert J. Barnett with whom she resided, and a brother Howard Lewis, Jr., of Woodsfield, OH. Also, Marilyn is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Lewis and sister, Betty Greco. The family would like to thank to her family, friends and Drs. Carey, Dixon, Lyons, Saunders, Nagy, Fe Herald, Van Riper, Battin, Filcheck, Fogarty and oncology floor nurses. In keeping with Marilyn's wishes cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
