Marjorie Leona Ferguson

Marjorie Leona Ferguson, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at WV Masonic Home of Parkersburg. Marjorie Leona was born in Morgantown on March 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles Menear and Mabel (Rice) Menear. She was a Methodist by faith and a very talented artist and painter She is survived by her sisters, Betty Sodomick and Doris Van Gilder; grandchildren, Amy Lynn Salvesen, Shelley Ann Ryan, Lesley Jo Ryan; great-grandchildren, Erik Salvesen, Andrew, Anna, and William Gajewski; son-in-law, Charles Ryan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Clem Joseph Seasley and William H. Ferguson and daughter, Lorraine Marie Ryan. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Saturday, August 23 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Timothy Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover. In lieu of flowers donations may be may be made to WV Masonic Home, P.O. Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26102.
