Molly Fusco Vannoy Mary Ann "Molly" Fusco Vannoy, 56, of Westover, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV, after a brief illness. Molly was born in Punxsutawney, PA on June 3, 1959, the daughter of the late Albert G. Fusco and the late Virginia Naomi (Whitesell) Fusco. Molly was a graduate of St. Francis High School and West Virginia University. She was the first female president of the Lambda Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. She was pledge class president and the 500th member of the chapter. In 1994 the pledge class honored Molly by naming her as their class “namesake.” Molly was also named the most outstanding pledge of her class. Molly was a teacher in Kanawha County Schools for several years. In later years, Molly was a dedicated caregiver for her mother, father and her husband. Molly was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She is survived by her siblings, Andrew and Deborah Fusco, Patricia and Russell Ireland, Joseph Fusco and Michael Wesson, Randy and Sue Fusco, and Michael and Mary Lou Fusco; step children, Karen and Terry Rice, Pam and Ron Rakosi, Susan Arbogast, Michael and Marcia Vannoy, and David and Melanie Vannoy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several step grandchildren, and step nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Jack” Vannoy and her son, David Joseph “Joey” Fusco; and stepdaughter, Lori Ann Conrad. A special thanks to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital who took such wonderful care of Molly during her illness. Friends and family will be received at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown on Monday, April 4th from 5-8 p.m. A Scriptural Wake service will be held at the church at 7:30 PM with Sister Nancy White to conclude the evening visitation. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday, April 5th from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Carlos Melocoton, Jr., as celebrant. Entombment will follow at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Peace Garden Mausoleum.
