Mary Teresia Marshall

Mary Teresia Marshall, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born May 30, 1948 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Paul and Lucille (Lefeavers) Gray.

She was Apostolic by faith and formerly attended 1st Apostolic Church in Morgantown. She was employed at Sterling Faucet, Davis and Lynch Glass Factory, and The Wash House. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, watching country bands, NASCAR, game shows, and especially WVU Mountaineer football.

She is survived by her children, Gerald Marshall, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Eloise Martin and her fiancé Paul Johnson, and Richard Marshall and his wife Melissa; step daughter, Poly Minarchik and her husband Joe; siblings, Don Gray, Junior Paul Gray and his wife Barbara, Elaine Lipscomb and her husband Donald, Marion Lawson, and Betty Kisner and her husband John; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Blaine Marshall, who passed away in 2022. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Marshall; siblings, Bill, Bob, John, Joe, and Doris Gray and Sharon Thompson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the nurses, CNA's and the entire staff of Sundale Nursing Home for all of their years of love and care.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, October 11th from 5-8 PM and again on Saturday, October 12th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dolly Sparks officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
