Mary Rose Hoffman, 92, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Monday, April 6, 2015, at Madison Nursing & Rehab after a short illness. She was born in Morgantown on November 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Zigmond Farkas, Sr. and Barbala (Czimbolmos) Farkas Mary worked for Sterling Faucet for 20 years, before moving to Pittsburgh and retiring from H.J. Heinz Company after 30 years of service. She is survived by her daughter: Bettie Lou Haught of Morgantown; two granddaughters: Duana and husband Keith Nacarate of Morgantown, R. Lee Haught of WV; and two great-grandsons; Anthony and Matthew Nacarate of Morgantown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Walter Guy Hoffman; son-in-law, Duane Haught; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Thursday, April 9 from 3-7 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 10th from 10:00 AM. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. with Pastor James Cooley officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's memory to Madison Activity Center, 161 Bakers Ridge Rd.
