Mary Vanlandingham

Mary Lee VanLandingham, 74, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at her residence.Lee was born in East Liverpool, OH, on October 14, 1937, the daughter of the late Harold and Irene Dawson.She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Carnegie Tech, now known as Carnegie Mellon University and a member of Delta Gamma. She and her husband, Tom, owned Reiner and Core Clothing store in Morgantown from 1968 until they retired in 1994, where Lee managed the womenâs department. She enjoyed being a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas VanLandingham, her daughters, Kimberly Sue VanLandingham, Wendy Lee Kolkmeyer and husband, John, Holly Ann Hughes and husband, Rodney, her grandchildren, Alec, Hannah and Kathryn Kolkmeyer and Rodney Thomas and Van Hughes. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV, on Saturday, January 14 from 5-8pm and again on Sunday, January 15, from 1-2pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2pm with Reverend Michael Atkinson officiating. Private family interment will be held at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
