Maryjoyce Cassidy

MaryJoyce Cassidy, 94, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Morgantown Healthcare Center.

She was born in Uniontown, PA on March 10, 1930, daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Lonsinger) Ramsey.

MaryJoyce was a loving wife, mother and friend who was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the White Shrine. Her favorite hobbies included working puzzles and reading books while watching Golden Girls.

MaryJoyce is survived by her children, Karen Cassidy of Morgantown and Brian Cassidy of Uniontown, PA, along with many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend, Elinor Mundel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John T. Cassidy, Jr., and brother, Lucien Ramsey.

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service and inurnment will take place at a later time.
