Matsu Hardman

Matsu Saito Hardman, 61, of Brockway Ave., Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.Matsu was born in Naganuma, Yubari County, Hokkaido, Japan on April 15, 1949, a daughter of Miyo Yamada Saito of Japan and the late Isamu Saito.She will be sadly missed by her son, her many friends in the Morgantown area where she was a long time resident of, and her loved ones in Japan. Matsu was skilled at various paper crafts and had also worked as both a bank teller and fry cook. In addition, her indomitable spirit and zest for living have inspired so many who knew and loved her.In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Timothy Toueman Hardman of Parkersburg, WV and two brothers, Hajime and Masaru, both of Japan.Mrs. Hardmanâs wishes for cremation are being honored. There will be no services held locally.
