Medora Knight

Medora Mason Knight, 77, of Cheat Lake, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born November 24, 1931 in Wadestown, she was a daughter of the late Ralph A. and DeEtta Haught Mason.

Survivors include her husband, Quentin D. Knight, whom she married June 20, 1954 a son, Kevin L. Knight and his wife, Lisa of Worthington, WV a daughter, Susan Knight Lester of Medina, OH five grandchildren, Caleb P. Knight, Margaret Knight Shreve and her husband, Joshua, Sarah E. Knight, Joshua M. Lester and Garrett M. Lester one great-grandson, Issac P. Shreve and one sister, L. Josephine Mason of Kensington, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dale Keith Knight of Bruceton Mills, WV a brother, Ralph A. Mason of Hickory, PA and a sister, Norma Mason Cumberledge of Martinsville, VA.

To honor Medora's wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at the Avery United Methodist Church 1154 Cheat Rd. Morgantown (Cheat Lake) on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard L. Work, Jr. presiding.

Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Avery United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1152 Cheat Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508.
