Melissa Jean Miller, 37, of Akron, OH an formerly of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 18, 2012 at her residence.Melissa was born in Akron, OH on January 7, 1975, a daughter of Gene Ellis Miller of Akron, OH and Linda Jean (Mills) Moles of Morgantown.Survivors include her three siblings, Johnny Miller of Morgantown Michelle Williams and her husband John of Philadelphia, PA and Saprina Miller of Morgantown her grandparents, Johnny and Jean Mills of Morgantown and a nephew Kaine Nieman-Miller and two nieces Alivia Walters and Emaile Nieman-Miller all of Morgantown and many aunt, uncles, cousins and friends..She was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Ernest Moles and her grandparents, Donald and Martha Miller.Melissa loved spending time with her family and her two dogs, Ruby and Lucky. She also enjoyed boating, gardening, spending time with family and friends and nurturing those in need.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, June 23rd from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
