Melody Sue Perry

Melody Perry, 68, of Summers School Rd., Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at her home. She was born January 18, 1954 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Willard and Lucy Arretta (McDonald) Nicholson.

She is survived by her siblings, Barry Nicholson and Valerie Nicholson and her husband Larry Showalter; sister-in-law, Barbara Nicholson, brother-in-law, Russ Perry, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Perry, Sr.; stepson, Larry "Bubby" Perry, Jr.; infant daughter, Freda Mae Perry; brother, Delmar Nicholson; sister-in-law, JoAnn Nicholson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Brooke and Cynthia for their loving care.

Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Rd., Morgantown, on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4 PM until the time of the funeral service on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Elmer Nicholson and John Conaway officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
