Michael Edward "Mick" Toth

Michael Edward "Mick" Toth, 63, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Morgantown on February 17, 1951, the son of the late Michael and Helen (Evanto) Toth. He worked in the coal industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and, boating. He dearly loved his grandchildren. Mick is survived by his fiancé Shelia Young; children, Sherri Toth, Michael Toth and wife, Ashley and stepdaughter, Stacie Young Issa and husband, Ali; grandchildren, Christopher Toth, Aubinie Russell, Ava and Dean Issa; sister, Sandra Brown and her husband Kurt; brother, Richard Toth and his wife, Rachel. Also he is survived by his golden retriever, Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jody Michelle Toth; brother, Gary A. Toth and his sister, Gloria Jean Hall. Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9. The Panachida Service will be recited at 8:00 PM Monday in the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10-11 AM. A combined Parastas service will be held in conjunction with his sister’s service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday with the celebrant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church of the Holy Protection, Father Michael J.
