Mike Hudak, 84, of John Poole Rd., Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residence.He was born on February 26, 1927, in Morgantown, the son of the late John and Helen Hritz Hudak. He was Catholic by faith. Mike was a graduate of Morgantown High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was stationed in California. He was a driver with Sterling Faucet for more than 35 years. He was a great conversationalist, always making his daily rounds to his friends and local businesses. He was very generous, kind and caring individual who will be deeply missed. He is survived by four children, Helen Myers of Hurricane, WV, Gary Hudak and wife Mary of Morgantown, Sharon Ward and husband, Tom of Stafford, VA, and Rita Williamson and husband, Kermit of Morgantown, and three grandchildren, Brie Ward, Kermit Williamson, Jr. and Christopher Williamson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lola Beatrice Blaney Hudak on September 17, 2009, a granddaughter, Taylor Beth Kelley, and a brother, John âJayâ Hudak and his wife, Eleanor. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-8p.m. on Thursday, May 26, and from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am on Friday, May 27th with Fr. Ronald Prectal officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
