Mildred Bailey

Mildred Louise Field Bailey, 83, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Fairmont General Hospital.Mildred was born in Kingwood on March 16, 1926, the daughter of the late Hugh and Hazel Britton Field.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved doing things for others.She is survived by two daughters, Darla Wade and husband Rick of Morgantown and Cynthia Ralston and husband Fred of Rivesville four grandchildren, Todd Stone and wife Brenda, Kim Perrine and husband, Joe, Marc Ralston and wife Jennifer, and Brad Ralston seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Franklin Bailey, her sister, Martha Smith, her brothers Norman and Denzil Field. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, on Friday, November 6 from 9-11a.m. A graveside committal service will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery with members of the Jehovahâs Witnesses officiating.A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall, 379 Smithtown Road, Morgantown on Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m. with members of the Jehovahâs Witnesses.
