Mildred Joyce Wagner Greene, age 66, died Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Madison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown and was formerly of the Canyon Road, Morgantown, WV. Mildred was born March 12, 1948 in Buckhannon, WV daughter of the late Betty J. Winans Wagner of Buckhannon and the late Wilbert T. (Boots) Wagner. Survived by one brother William Edward (Ed) Wagner and wife Lu‐Ann of Morgantown, two sisters Linda Wagner Newcome of Wilson, North Carolina and Carey Wagner of Buckhannon. Two nieces Jennifer Newcome Kelly of Morgantown and Jessica Wagner Vincent and husband Denny of Buckhannon. Ms. Greene was proceeded in death by a sister in law, Glenna Law Hill Wagner. Ms. Greene was a graduate of the Buckhannon‐Upshur High School Class of 1966 and worked in the banking field for a number of years and as an Assistant Vice President of Operations which included bookkeeping and running the teller line at the Westover Bank in Westover, WV in the mid 70’s through 1984. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #9916 in Westover, WV and a member of the Kesling United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. The family would like to thank The Neighbors Family for your friendship and help over the years, the Staff of the Madison Center for the assistance and care of Mildred, Rev. Vicky Sheppard for your visits and pastoral care, and the Class of 1966 for your many cards of cheer and readings. Cremation services were provided by Hastings Funeral home in Morgantown. A memorial service will be held for Mildred Greene and mother, Betty J. Wagner, at the Kesling United Methodist Church in Kesling Mill, WV on Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:00 AM.
