Mildred Ruby Shank

Mildred Ruby Shank, 92, of Gilmore Street, Morgantown went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at Stonerise of Morgantown f/k/a Mapleshire. She was born May 18th, 1929, a daughter to the late Charles Duesenberry and Edna Kinsley Duesenberry.

She is survived by her two sons, Marshall Shank (Carole Ann Shank), and Paul Shank (Alison Shank), her nine grandchildren; 23 great-grand children and she is also survived by her dear friend, Mary Paul.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Shank, Sr., and her son, Wallace Shank Jr. Several siblings also preceded her in death.

Mildred was a lifelong resident of Morgantown, WV.

Hastings Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at East Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Rich Schimanski officiating where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made in Mildred’s behalf to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Road, Suite 250, Morgantown, WV, which is a partner with Amedysis.
