Nila Gussie

Nila G. Gussie, 88, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.Nila was born in Shady Grove, Preston County on April 28, 1922, and the daughter of the late George W. and Nora E. (Thomas) Niner.She worked as a bookkeeper/office manager for OS Chittum Motors in Morgantown for 11 years before moving to Washington, DC to work for the federal government until her retirement. She is survived by a daughter, a son, a grandson and a nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother. She was loved and will be missed by those who knew her. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 2-4pm on Sunday, August 22. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Monday, August 23, in East Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Dan Meadows officiating.
