Norma Bigler, 84, of Brookhaven-Morgantown, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011, at Sundale Nursing Home.Norma was born in Morgantown on September 3, 1927, the daughter of the late Adolf Charles and Clara (Field) Sankbeil.She had worked as a cook for 21 years at Brookhaven Elementary. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Norma is survived by her daughters, Janis Maxwell and husband, Larry of Masontown, Charylene St. Clair and companion Doug Hunt of Morgantown, her grandchildren, Shane Maxwell and wife, Jennifer of Masontown, Trevor St. Clair and fiancée Elissa Spiker of Pittsburgh, and Macy St. Clair and companion Jerry Fowler of Morgantown along with 2 nieces and 2 nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Maxwell Bigler on September 4, 2009, two brothers, Eddie and Arnold Sankbeil, a sister, Louise Clifton as well as a nephew, Jeff Sankbeil. The family would like to thank the staff at Sundale Nursing Home for their undivided loving care. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Tuesday, November 29 from 9-11am. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday morning in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Harriman officiating.
