Olga Lorethia Sharp

Olga L. (Bender) Sharp, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Louis Malin Bender and Ethel Gertrude (Manning) Bender. Olga was employed as a Billing Specialist and Coder for Lab Corp for more than 20 years. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Allen Roger Sharp; children, Karen Sharp Smith, Keith Sharp and Stacey Sharp (Art) Johnson; grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Chris, Kayla, Brooke, Samantha, Allen, Lexi, Jacob and Joshua; great-grandchild, Wayne; sister, Lois Sellaro and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Malin Bender. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Thursday, January 28th from 4-8p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday January 29th from 10a.m until the time of the service at 11a.m with Rev. Tim Halloran officiating. Interment will follow in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
