Patricia Grace Frankenberry

Patricia Grace McConnaughey Frankenberry, 87, of Morgantown died October 22, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center.

She was born November 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Richard and Louise Baldwin McConnaughey.

She was a long-time member of Sabraton Hill Baptist Church in Morgantown, and she was a graduate of Morgantown High School.

She was formerly an employee with Independent Dressed Beef Company where she served for over 15 years as a bookkeeper, as well as a receptionist for Vision Homes, Inc. for a number of years.

Patricia is survived by one daughter, Sharlene L. Friend, and spouse Fred Friend of Morgantown; two sons, Richard A. Frankenberry of Fairmont, WV, and Bryan S. Frankenberry and spouse Crystal Frankenberry of Powell, WY; one sister, Dian Bucklew of Morgantown; as well as her daughter-in-law, Cindy Frankenberry Dice of Pt. Marion, PA. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Scott (Kacey) Friend, Ashley (Sean) Wheeler, Samantha (Ryan) Taylor, Kristin (Travis) Embacher, Nicole Frankenberry-Saas, Thomas, Evan, and Samuel Frankenberry, and Jacob and Zekeal Frankenberry; five great grandchildren, Cameron, Margo, Colton, Ace, and Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald S. Frankenberry, son, Ronald L. Frankenberry, grandson, Ronald S. Frankenberry II, sisters, Dixie Molla and Joy Bucklew; and four brothers, Richard, Donald, Russell, and Lewis.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Thursday, October 24th from 5PM-7PM, and again on Friday, October 25th from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM, with Pastor Stephen Dodrill officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
