Patricia "Sue" Luzader Osburn, 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Sue was born in Morgantown on October 29, 1943, a daughter to the late Arthur and Bessie Luzader.
Sue loved being a member of the Morgantown community. She worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals for over 30 years, was an avid bowler, and was passionate about supporting the WVU Mountaineers. Most importantly, Sue loved spending time with her family.
Sue is survived by her children, Vickie Nicholson (Randy), Helen Hays (Carl), and Lisa Childs; grandchildren, Christopher Nicholson, Ryan Hays, Courtney Hays, Hilary Helmer (Mark), Conner Childs, Claire Childs, and Isabella Wilson (Taylor); great grandchildren, David, Josephine, and Maxwell Nicholson, Elliot Helmer, and Mackenzie Wilson; brother, James "Jimbo" Luzader (Emma); as well as her companion, Ken Harvey and a special friend, Angelia Dorsey.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bob" Juristy; husband, John Osburn; son-in-law, Charles Childs; and siblings, Robert "Bob" Luzader and Arthur "Pete" Luzader.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Saturday, March 8th from 4pm-6pm, and again on Sunday, March 9th from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm, with her son-in-law, Randy Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
