Patty Sue Ault

Patty Sue Ault, 77, or Morgantown, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 17, 2024, surrounded by her granddaughters, Kelly and Amy, along with her devoted dog Rocky, and a special friend, Aleasha "Pebs" Nichols.

Patty enjoyed singing, playing the piano at her church, and going out to eat a sandwich.

Patty is survived by her brothers, Pastor Casper Dalton, Jr. and his wife Debbie, who was a special friend to Patty, Marvin Dalton and his wife Tonya, Joe Dalton and his wife Sue, and Terry "Duke" Dalton; granddaughters, Amy Freeman and her husband Charles McDonald, who was like a son Patty never had, Kelly Frum and her husband Scott; great-grandchildren, Colton and Aemilie Frum, and Makenzie McDonald; a special friend and caretaker, Melissa Uphold; one son, Casper Freeman, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion Ray Garland; brothers, Delbert and infant James; sisters, Dewilla, Edna, Bonnie, Georgie, Rosella, and Nancy.

Friends and family will be received at God's Family Bible Church, 162 Pond Rd., Morgantown, on Wednesday, March 20, from 3:00 PM until the time of the funeral service on Thursday, March 21, at 11:00 am with Pastor Casper Dalton, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
